LilyPad LED White (5pcs)
This is a simple pack of five White LilyPad LEDs that are still attached to one another, letting you snap the LEDs apart at your leisure to sew into clothing or whatever else you can dream up.
LilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology developed by Dr. Leah Buechley and cooperatively designed by Leah and SparkFun. Each LilyPad piece was creatively designed with large sew tabs to allow them to be sewn into fabric. Various input, output, power and sensor boards are available. They're even washable (with special care)!
Note: A portion of this sale is given back to Dr. Buechley for continued development and education in e-textiles.

Core Skill: DIY
Whether it's for assembling a kit, hacking an enclosure, or creating your own parts; the DIY skill is all about knowing how to use tools and the techniques associated with them.
Skill Level: Noob - Basic assembly is required. You may need to provide your own basic tools like a screwdriver, hammer or scissors. Power tools or custom parts are not required. Instructions will be included and easy to follow. Sewing may be required, but only with included patterns.

Work perfectly
These little babies are perfect for lighting up things that don't have a lot of space or thickness to them. I use them in my 3D printed projects with a coin cell and they last for days and look great. I bought a bunch of them because I now have a bunch of ideas.
So much Fun!
We are using these to create lightup book marks. Students are so excited to create something unique

Will be buying more of these in the future
Had a workshop with youth who made masks and they all had a great, fun time. Plan to do some more.
A great addition to my crafts
The little LED lights are perfect for adding interest to my crafts, and it’s quite easy to use. My grandson loves pushing the button to make the stars in his quiet book light up. I’m so glad I found this product!
Bought wrong item
I was buying for school- needed lily pad button and accidentally bought LED thinking it was a lot of 5 for better price. So we had to build without the needed 35 buttons. :( Will try to use next year.
led set
Saw these at the Independence Seaport Museum and thought they would work fine in my ship models.. Haven't used them yet, but certainly will!
Perfect for my project
These small led lamps were the perfect size to include in a lighted greeting card I made. They will also be included in a wearable project I have coming up. The LilyPad LED’s arrived just as expected and worked better than expected, so much so that I ordered different colors to use.
Works as advertised and lots of fun
They are sturdy, the terminals are wide enough to sew enough loops to ensure a good connection. My 7th graders are using them with ease and Ive reordered these lughts several times. Tbe positive and negative terminals are clearly labeled and the lights are sturdy. I tried a less expensive brand and they were thinber, terminals were smaller and not labeled with positive and negative on both sides. This is a great product. Students used them to sew light up masks.
