    The prior 2500mAh NiMH AAs by the same manufacturer didn't compete against my 2100mAh Energizer NiMH AAs. They don't hold a charge as long on the shelf and don't last as long in high-drain applications. I haven't tested them in lighter-duty applications. I wonder if the 2700mAh AAs are improved.

      Also don't get these wet or near moisture. The + side will corrode. AKA don't leave These outside in your project over winter. I ended up replaced every one of these batteries with Energizer NiMH AA in all of my solar lanterns and the Energizer NiMH gives out brighter light and last longer.

    Are these the "precharged" type? The "precharged" type has something different that allows it to hold charge much longer in storage than standard NiMH batteries, where as plain old NiMH have a significant loss of charge over time

    How do these compare with the eneloop or pro eneloops? Recent online surveys seem to put those as the best NiMH batteries available. Are these similar? Are they really 2500mAh? Making the switch from LiPo, at least for some projects, and want to start off with the good NiMH batteries and charger.

    Many nickel compounds have unpleasant biological effects. You should still keep these separate from normal household waste. Many retailers operate collection/recycling schemes, though they don't always publicize them very well!

    I'm assuming these are 1.5 Volt each just like a normal AA. Am I wrong?
